RED GOSPEL-ED

THE RED PILL Basically, NEO is unwittingly living in a fake simulation world. He doesn’t know the truth. He is offered two pills. One is blue - the option to be an ignoramus, to ignore the fact that he’s living a lie, and the other option is the red pill. Taking the red pill allows the person to discover the truth by experiencing it. By leaving the simulation and entering the “real world”

This process is very confrontational for people in the story. They even create a rule that once people reach a certain age they can’t be red pilled because sometimes their minds get scrambled by the truth process.

This notion of taking the red pill has extended beyond the movie. It has become a term to describe the moment when a confrontational reality you were once in denial about shifts, and becomes something you hold to as true. That truth often has uncomfortable things about it.

Taking the red pill and accepting the gospel have a LOT in common. The Gospel is THE ultimate red pill.

KNOW CHURCH, KNOW HEAVEN ON EARTH

[No church, No heaven on earth]

1. CHURCH IS GOD’S ONLY METHOD OF BRINGING HEAVEN TO EARTH

Eternal Life (Heaven) is to Know Jesus.

John 17:3 Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent."

You have to be present with someone to get to know them. Gathering in his Name (being church) is how we get into His presence.

Matthew 18:20 “For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”
The only way to know Jesus is to be born again.

John 3:1-11 “1Now there was a Pharisee, a man named Nicodemus who was a member of the Jewish ruling council. 2 He came to Jesus at night and said, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the signs you are doing if God were not with him.” 3 Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.” 4 “How can someone be born when they are old?” Nicodemus asked. “Surely they cannot enter a second time into their mother’s womb to be born!” 5 Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. 6 Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit[b] gives birth to spirit. 7 You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.’ 8 The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”
9 “How can this be?” Nicodemus asked. 10 “You are Israel’s teacher,” said Jesus, “and do you not understand these things?11 Very truly I tell you, we speak of what we know, and we testify to what we have seen, but still you people do not accept our testimony.

No other way John 14:66 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

2. GOD COMMUNICATES THIS THROUGH US.

2 Corinthians 5:17-21 “17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has comeThe old has gone, the new is here! 18 All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: 19 that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. 20 We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. 21 God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
This MUST be done thought preaching 14 How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? 15 And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!

Preaching is foolishness to the world. - They will call yo a Bible basher.
1 Corinthians 1:18 18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

Your mind needs to be renewed, to shift from foolishness to the power of God - Get brainwashed.
Romans 12:2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

3. JESUS IS DOING A BRILLIANT JOB BUILDING HIS CHURCH

Yongming from New Mexico
Yongming had shoulder and neck pain for about seven years. He was studying for his PhD when the pain began. A few years later, he noticed a bump on his left shoulder and the pain began to be concentrated largely in that area. He was unsure of what caused the pain, but the pain would consistently be at a level 5 and about a 7 where the bump was located. While receiving prayer, the bump started shrinking, which he described as feeling like ice melting. The bump completely went down and his overall pain went down to a 2. His daughter also received prayer for her stomach pain and the pain disappeared.

Six-year-old Asher was diagnosed with high-spectrum autism about four years ago. He would constantly throw temper tantrums and act out in public, causing embarrassment and frustration for his parents. His dad, Tim, began taking him to the Healing Rooms every couple of weeks, starting in February 2018. Since then, Tim has noticed a gradual, yet major change in Asher’s behavior. He is much more obedient now and has an easier time listening and talking. He is much more peaceful and social. His teachers have also been amazed by his progress. A few weeks ago, his teacher hurt her hand in class and Asher went right up to her and grabbed her hands and started praying for her healing. Last week, the same thing happened when Tim took Asher to Turtle Bay and a girl hurt her hand on the zip-line. Asher went straight to her and began praying for her. Tim is very excited to see such amazing things happening with his son.

These are expressions of heaven on earth.
See others as better than yourself.

Philippians 2:3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, Caring for the least.

Heaven is to be in the presence of God. He’s with us wherever we go! Let’s commit to shining that LIGHT as far and wide as we can.

We will all give an account for what we’ve done. Let’s commit to doing all we can so our account be “I brought heaven to earth”
